CORSICANA, TX (KLTV) - Authorities and rescue teams are on Richland Chambers Lake near Corsicana, searching for a grandfather and his grandson.

Authorities believe that 72-year-old Jerry King of Athens and 17-year-old Jerrod Rachel of Crossroads may have drowned. Their boat was found drifting on the lake.

Monday morning the two decided to go fishing. Jerrod called his girlfriend at around 2:30 that afternoon to tell her they were done. They haven't been heard from since.

Authorities say that the car was still at the ramp, and the pontoon boat was found two miles north of 287's bridge.

The stormy weather is making search and rescue difficult, but boats are out, and they are using sonar technology to search for the two.
